Juan Bautista Domínguez es un músico, compositor y productor sonoro oriundo de La Pampa, Argentina, cuya obra se despliega en el cruce entre la música electrónica experimental, el ambient rural, y las texturas sonoras de la llanura pampeana. Bajo el nombre Rural, construye paisajes sonoros que combinan sintetizadores, grabaciones de campo y elementos folclóricos repensados desde una estética contemporánea. Desde el 2020, bajo el alias Proyecto Rural, Juan Bautista ha editado EPs y sets en vivo donde mezcla:

    grabaciones de campo del monte pampeano, silbidos del viento y estaciones AM,procesamiento digital minimalista, con texturas granuladas y capas de pads empapados en reverbs.

    y un ambient de baja fidelidad que suena más a estancia abandonada que a laboratorio.
Su música articula una memoria territorial difusa y vibrante cargado de memorias.
Su primer trabajo largo, “Sembrar” (2025), propone una deriva sonora por zonas inundables de la subjetividad pampeana, en clave postdigital. Fragmentos de voces, grabaciones de viento de ferrocarriles abandonados, y ruidos de animales se cruzan casi imperceptibles entre pads y osciladores modulados, generando una atmósfera entre lo onírico y lo geográfico.
