With 𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑶𝒀 𝑪𝑯𝑶𝑰𝑹, we are introduced to Bride's wondrous sonic vocabulary.

Awash with dissociative and hallucinatory layers of pastoral noise and dreamlike ambience, an eerie tone embeds itself in the forefront of your pineal gland. The dramaturgy present in the compositions of 𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑶𝒀 𝑪𝑯𝑶𝑰𝑹 assumes a psychedelic modulation of space within the recordings, lodging itself in your mind's eye. Loops of ominous orchestral manipulations create vision trails as they thunder against the collapsing of coastal geologies. Your forearm veins go cold as the muscles in your legs grow shaky and numb, sinking into the blankets, unable to discern any depth of field in the auditory realm. Slowly your body detaches from your skeleton, your nerves and veins lift from the flesh, and your soul leaves your eyes... rising to hover above your bed.

Here, the atomized Self is engulfed by the washes of 𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑶𝒀 𝑪𝑯𝑶𝑰𝑹, in both reverie and anguish. Piece by piece, your body re-congeals and you have returned, staring towards the ceiling and feeling the blood coursing back into your arms and legs. White and pink noise whip by you like cold wet air, flitting between somber angelic undertones. You are outside with your shoes off, feeling the cold night grass between your toes.

Bride adds a new marker to their hermetically-hewn environment with 𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑶𝒀 𝑪𝑯𝑶𝑰𝑹, resulting in an unmistakably masterful statement for the artist.

Polina Khatsenka aka mʊdʌki is a Czechia-based sound artist, dj, event organiser and music producer from Minsk, Belarus. She has devoted her work to sound exploration since 2015. Her music production is arising from subconsciousness with an accent to authentic sound sources, author‘s recordings with usage of basic/primitive hardware, including DIY synths, all based on digital setup. Each type of performances of hers are amplified by improvisational methods with space for randomness left in order to make each show bear peculiar energy and provide the listener an intensive feeling of living the moment.

Sleep Deprived #6 w/ Linda Kokkonen (28/02/23)

The LP, mostly inspired by Ursula L Guins Earthsea, follows the narrative of a shadow/gebbeth stalking oneself and trying to overpower the phases of one submitting to & resisting it. Susu's voice demonstrates the gebbeth, using her voice as an instrument, representing it in various proximities but also at times it represents the soul in various states responding to the gebbeth. The backing and verse then operate as a call and response between the gebbeth and the soul. Many lyrics are inspired and formed from a Persian book of poetry and the cut-up technique style within it. Her trademark dark & harrowing sound is prominent throughout, taking influence from dabke rhythms.

The Lie Closest To The Truth

Following last years remix of ‘System’ with Tiz East, Simkin returns to All Centre with ‘Toxin’ the second dose of his infectious hybridized club sound.

On the title track he picks up where he left off, riffing on the tropes of techno and club styles with ease and continuing to set the pace for what’s to come. Sprawling high pitched FX fly overhead veering in all directions whilst a cavernous chord pins down the tracks chugging beat as it lurches forward.

B-side ‘Anarres’ begins with an assured combination of deep 4x4 kicks and industrious percussion that are later joined by an angelic haunting melody and a picked bass line. As the track glides along further drums begin to syncopate, locking the listener deeper into a phantom breakbeat groove.

Toxin is available across all platforms from the 6th of March.

To celebrate the label’s second anniversary we’ve enlisted a crew of friends and family to put together a compilation which looks to consolidate the sound that the label has honed so far and envision where it’s headed in the future.

Additionally our in-house artist Bette Blanchard has created 8 artworks responding to the compilation, which have been riso printed on A3 to go in the home or studio <3
