DARKBRIGHT is a masterful collage of interactions between the most experimental electronic production that can be found in hyperpop today, along with infectious indie pop, punk, & hardcore sensibilities, that make for a truly awesome marriage of styles and sounds! Oh boy! Polygon Cove has a new EP! This nyanbinary rockstar is an expert in adding charm and wholesomeness to conventional song structures. The lead single "Never Grown" sounds like some nightcore Tumblr rip from 2012, slowly building its layers from the beginning of the track to when the lyrics come in. Again, it's a simple song structure, but Polygon Cove's approach to vocal processing and instrumental choices like distortion and reverb drench this little pop dance tune with sweetness :')
