Based in Buenos Aires, SÁCCEA is a producer who explores sound and its ability to refer to different universes, colours, sensations and images. She focuses on the dialogue between the organic and the synthetic, bordering on IDM, Glitch and Ambient music.

This release embodies ineffable emotions, the access to the unknown, symbols and the evocation of sounds and images in a dreamlike state. It transits through different atmospheres and sonorities composed by deconstructed percussive rhythms, string and wind instruments interacting with synthesized micro sounds, dense bass and field recordings. It will be available as digital download via nodolabel.bandcamp.com

After rare apparitions on compilations, sound designer Victor Morello aka @zerocrossingpoint brings to light his very first full length release. "Iteration of the Self" gathers 8 tracks created on a 4 years interval and based on countless reworks and adjustments, mirroring a dense period of self transformation for the producer. Inspired by Ambient, Musique Concrete, Film Score, Club and Metal, Zero Crossing Point delivers a stunning piece of hybrid electronics, sometimes extreme, sometimes uplifting and cinematic.

Use and abuse of home made synthesised sounds and personal field recordings create an uncommon universe in which reverb, granular synthesis, distortion and resonators pave the way for an astonishing sense of narration. Drawing inspiration from nature observations, bizarre movies, books and video games, the Grenoble-based producer built a wonderful piece transcribing strong unsayable emotions and exploring the concept of iteration.

Jealous Hours is the first full-length LP by the Tel-Aviv based DJ & producer Lily Haz. Featuring nine genre-bending tracks in her distinctive electro-dub style, the project playfully emphasizes & recontextualizes the role of sampling using cinematic references to nineties cult songs & movies.

“I’m a rapper!” says the kid to the cop. “Oh you’re a rapper? Oh, ok… Be cool, stay in school” the cop condescently replies.

Thanks to her unique approach to production, Lily takes us for a tour in her obscure, ethereal universe where hip hop’s supremacy is undisputed. Flirting with the club realm while fearlessly determined in her style, each of one of her core influences is essential to this parallel universe. Out there, pitched-down rap verses top obscure beats and rolling liquid jungle drums ; extended intros and outros riffle through the whole spectrum of human emotion. From anger to the puzzling humoristic dialogues she creates by toying with her own layered vocals or memphis rap samples, one cannot help but let himself dive into this ethereal consciousness outburst.

The ticking of the clock resounded around the room, its monotonous sound made it difficult for him to concentrate on his own thoughts. He shifted his attention to the other people in the room, and tried to scan their faces for feelings, thoughts and emotions. Nobody gave anything away; their expressions were unreadable and unaffected, as though they were all hiding something from the world. He wondered what their stories were, where they'd come from and where they were going, but he'd never find out the answers, speculation would have to serve his curiosity. 

A lover of hip hop, Lily Haz's releases are characterised by samples and off-kilter beats but with her own unique, personal touch. On singles and EPs for the likes of Night Noise, Stamp The Wax and her regular home Tofistock, she's demonstrated her knack for blurring the boundaries between genres, fusing elements of electro, dub, experimental, trip hop and ambient. For her long-awaited debut album she takes cues from nineties songs and films, playing with the art of sampling to fashion a collection of nine tracks that take us on a trip through hypnotic atmospheres, lo-fi beats and weirdo rap verses.
