This month I give a warm welcome to, Franz Jäger

Myself and Franz have been in contact over the last couple of years now and since day one his sound has been inspirational and flawless to say the least. With some outstanding releases on labels such as Hayes, Schimmer & Diffuse reality just to name a few. His minimalistic style of production has gained some well deserved support from some the industries leading figures. 

Based in Stockholm, Sweden. Franz has been carefully curating his unique sound since 2016 with previous experiments in Dubstep and Drum & bass. I think it’s safe to say that Franz passion for Electronic music is certainly no joke.

On tonight’s episode I find out more about Franz earlier years as a producer and what lead him to where he is now. Plus a little insight into his workflow whilst in the studio and a incredible guest mix to see out this month's episode.

Concept: 
Cause and Effect a law of nature able to rebel against the presumption of mankind and the lack of respect for a world that gives us life and hosts us in order to live it, as well as its rather selfish role, with the arrogance of being able to excel every time, believing therefore to be decisive and dominant to every single event. As a result, man always leaves out the consequences of his negative effect, despite what history has taught us about the balance man-nature, reducing his dominant role when it is about to be blamed as the cause. There is a saying from an ancient American Indian tribe that reading: "We don't inherit the land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children..." We need to raise awareness and learn from the mistakes we made so far to have a solid conviction, a clear perception in supporting and respecting the ecology of our world even more, without waiting any longer, as anticipation brings the energy charge, which in turn leads to liberation. We free Earth from our mistakes because in a not-so-distant future even our children will be indebted to Mother Nature and future generations to come; therefore if the time of an end ever existed, if we do not change promptly, we risk accelerating this process.

Del4raa, also known as Delara Toyuri, is an accomplished Iranian musician based in Tehran. Developing her passion for music from the age of 4 with the piano, she thrived in a musically appreciative family, excelling in national piano competitions. Discovering Carl Cox's music as a teenager inspired her to blend enchanting melodies with robust grooves and industrial effects for the dance floor. Collaborating with her music partner under Mahara music, they crafted six melodic tracks fusing deep meaningful melodies with techno, later diving into the Raw/Deep/Hypnotic genre. Their EP "Resilient" is now available on Lonn Records, featuring the track "Rebirth" premiered by Deephousetehran and released by Coolkidzrec. One thing is particularly important to him: to take the people on the dancefloor on a journey where the music and the atmosphere it creates are in the foreground. He has demonstrated his passion for DJ-ing in various clubs, including Club Rote Sonne, where he is a permanent resident.

Ribé, the alias of Alberto Pascual, is invited for our 182th podcast. He started his musical journey in 1998 at the age of 14 when he started creating his first mixes using tape decks. A first big breakthrough happened when he first published his EP on Richie Hawtin's label Plus 8, which brought momentum to his career. His musical project took a new turn when he started exploring modular synthesis, releasing music on PoleGroup, and later, on Klockworks and Axis. Now Ribé often plays live sets using his modular synths.
This podcast is a mix of uncompromising sounds, ranging from industrial to more hypnotic textures over thick rolling basslines.
