Based in Rotterdam, Netherlands and originally from São Paulo, Brazil, HYPNØX began his journey as a DJ in 2020 within the world of dark progressive psytrance, developing a passion for hypnotic soundscapes that invite both movement and reflection. Behind the project is Gui Mendes, whose vision is to merge raw rhythm with deep atmosphere.

In 2025, Gui stepped into music production, blending the drive of dark minimal techno with the immersive layers of psytrance progressive. The result is a sound that is both hypnotic and dark, guiding listeners beyond the surface — into the void, where hidden answers and inner truths can be found.
