Just like the year 2022, this last LLL session had some definite ups and downs 😆  Over the 2 hours I made my way through some soulful liquid, some spacey stuff, some high energy liquid, some tech rollers, some deep neuro bits, some bigger dancefloor bangers and ending back into some deep heady rollers. As they say, "a little bit of everything". As always it's been a pleasure bringing these sessions to you on a weekly basis. It means everything to me that you regularly put aside time on your Saturday to tune into my stream. It makes the time I spend collecting, archiving and curating music in preparation for these sessions absolutely worth it. Also big shoutout to every producer putting out bangers and the ones who've graciously reached out to me with promos and dubs. Without you, there'd be no stream.

Liquid Lovers Lounge (EP84|DEC31|2022)

For the first session of the year I wanted to stick to more "traditional" liquid sounds for the first hour. Started out on a deep and funky groove and held that until about halfway when I moved into more chunky amen rollers and some jungle. Second hour was minimal bassline rollers into more uplifting and spacy vibe liquid rollers towards the end.

Liquid Lovers Lounge (EP85|JAN07|2023)

For this mid-winter session, I wanted to do a callback to a winter mix series I used to do called 'Seasonal Affective Disorder' that focused on darker, more melancholy selections. First 30 or 40 minutes or so were pretty deep. In the middle section I moved into more angular sci-fi liquid and eventually into some minimal tech stuff. The middle part into the second hour might have gotten a little nastier than initially intended, but there's some cool tech rollers, some dark dubby rollers, before I smooth it out again towards the end with some liquid rollers. All in all I was pretty happy with how it turned out and I got to play some music in my collection I don't always get to play. Big up if you were there in the chat 🖤
