Following on from her release on recent brokntoys VA The Glowing, Zagreb-based producer Ivna Ji has been keeping busy - together with partner in crime Samo Tako she is expanding her podcast series Innerspace into a record label, launching soon. 

Here the pair deliver an hour of melodic and grooving electro, recorded live at r_verse festival using an MPC1000, MPC5000, Korg MS2000, Slim Phatty, an x0xb0x and some effects. Catch them playing live again on 4th of august at Deep'n'out festival on island Cres.

Ryan James Ford’s productions are rarely anything other than inspired. Through regular releases on Marcel Dettmann Records, Answer Code Request and his own SHUT imprint, Ford has proved to be an exciting producer, capable of mangling sounds and styles to fit his wide-ranging musical vision.
The Berlin-based Canadian arrives on Happy Skull with a label debut that dramatically emphasizes the point. While each of the four tracks features audible nods to a wealth of influences and inspirations, the bold individuality of the resultant cuts all but renders such comparisons redundant.
For example, EP opener “Ormst Kaban”, whose wild, crashing, off-grid breakbeats and twisted, foreboding electronics aggressively spar with glacial chords and icy textures. The 16 bit arpeggio lines of 'Hobrv Kegdit' are underpinned by powerful sub-bass tones and industrial drum-breaks that merge to create a densely sprawling mass of dance floor melancholia.
This pattern continues throughout the EP, with “Slown Ridel” and “Nos Ummi” balancing skittish, noise-seeped percussion with the dreamy, glassy-eyed swell of classic ambient and pioneering early ‘90s IDM.

Following the polyrhythmic experiments of Pokies at the end of last year, Berlin-based Hot Concept step into 2020 with a new EP from a hero of the UK underground, Bleaching Agent. Renowned individually for his no-holds-barred techno productions as well as being one half of gabber-Italo duo Blacknecks, he's graced imprints like Komisch, Mira and Opal Tapes. His debut on Hot Concept, Not Colour Absolute, takes its name from a line by French Decadent poet Paul Verlaine and brings together industrial disco, tripped-out house, EBM, komische and full throttle rave cuts.
