After three years of throwing parties, we’re thrilled to announce something we’ve been dreaming of for a while now, the launch of our label and the first Awkwardly Social record release.

AWK001, Eleese EP by Aroent will be out officially on July 24th 2020.

Similar to our events and mix series, it is our goal to use the label as a platform for exciting, up and coming artists from within our community and beyond. Working together with our friend, the very talented Greek-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Aroent therefore has been a real pleasure and felt natural from the get go. We hope you enjoy this wicked set of forward thinking club tracks as much as we do!

A Sagittariun joins Craigie Knowes for a 3-track lunar rove on his label debut 'Live From The Sea Of Tranquility'. 
Beats, bumps and textures melding conventional dance music aesthetics with modern and firmly-UK flair. 
The EP showcases a lifetime of effortless genre-straddling as Harris turns his hand to a wide spectrum of instruments, sounds and formats at will.

The artwork for this record is also hiding more than a few hidden messages for Apollo/space exploration buffs, following in the tradition of almost all previous 12" releases on Craigie Knowes. 
Credit is also paid to Andrew Weatherall as he helped guide and tutor A Sagittariun's production over the years - R.I.P Lord Sabre.

Berlin-based DJ and producer Kuprion has dedicated himself to production for the past few years,
crafting savvy club tracks that have appeared on labels such as sowasvon and Rhombus. 

The OYE record store employee holds a bimonthly residency with online radio station New New World and has also been taking part in Martyn’s 3024 mentoring program this year.

For his next release, kuprion returns to his newly-minted Unnatural Evidence imprint with a damaging two track release. ‘Nein’ is a highly-charged electro workout while ‘Nine’ is an acid-tinged, breaks-laden slab of techno.

The sun was bright and alive, it danced atop a backdrop of bright, royal blue and the heat radiated down from the heavens up above. Sat in the field he watched as the long grass blew softly in the breeze as sun worshippers lay perched upon hillsides and viewpoints. Insects buzzed amidst the tall flowers, bees swarmed and flitted between bushes in search of something sweet. He liked that, those bees. As he sipped from an ice cold glass he wondered if the world could ever get any prettier than this...

Sentiments is a producer based in Lyon, we met a few years back when he played at a party for us in Lyon and smashed it out the park with fast paced, euphoric hardcore, italian dream house and wild breaks. We are delighted to see he continues on in such style, this is a new track by him on his label Light On Earth.
