ALIEN D aka Daniel Creahan is a staple in the NYC underground. He co-runs SWEAT EQUITY and is one half of DEKALB WORKS. For this EP, he’s cooked up 4 heady dance floor churners that draw influence from many points along the UK hardcore continuum and US tech-tonic landscape. These cuts are applicable and psychedelically functional for all times of the night. Early support and play by CCL, AceMo, Miley Serious, 2Lanes, Wngdu, Devoye, Ru, Masha, Mazewski, and Furtive.

“Dream Burner'' opens up with a tantalizing, syncopated kick, a rim-shot rhythm, and a brain-scratching zoom…it starts out tiptoeing around the 4/4 and then fully gives the four only to end back where the track started…presenting you with the Beat in between the downs and ups. “Spicy Action” is the perfect mix of chill and party…dubbed-out breaks and synth stabs laced over traveling bass drum patterns. No seatbelts in this cruiser, so hang tight!

Flip to the B side. “Party Glitters” is a sunrise outdoor rave anthem. Blissed out techno breaks for the long-haulers. At 8 minutes and some change, this is one you’ll want to let work its own magic…it’s a goer! “Sunrise Deli” ends the EP with tangible optimism, the power of the kinship found at a solid rave. Lush synths ease in more brain-tingling techno percussion and bring the EP to a bright close.

Ouroboros presents Grey Pantone’s “Acid Break” the second release on the label, produced by the talented Andrés Grey.p, featuring a captivating collaboration with S. Moreira (@smoreira).

Acid Break is a renaissance tribute to the break beat. A rare example that does not rely on the state of the music industry and flows free of social burdens.

From sweet merging acid basslines and bright pads from “Acid Break” passing through Detroit’s deep bass, vocal samples and orchestral arrangements from “Get Down” to the nostalgic frenzyed break-beat “por bulerias” from “Gypsy drummer”. Culminating a Dub “Acid Break remix” that makes you want roll up a tree.

The result is a collection of tracks that effortlessly blend jazzy melodies, broken beats and uplifting vibes.
Scheduled for release in October 2023, “Acid Break” will be available in both vinyl and digital formats. Nantes-based Tom Ferreira (Fasme) joins AF with his first and highly anticipated album titled ‘Bloom’. Well known in underground circles for an impressive live PA, Tom delivery 9-tracks (were recorded live) where he deploys his entire arsenal of analog synths. ‘Bloom’ immerses us in a world of 303-powered, crunchy machine drums with big emotive melodies, rushing piano motifs and swirling chords. Following up their initial Warning debut with a split single in 2020, we are pleased to welcome back the fierce combination of Sansibar and Reptant on Warning. For our annual 7” release we invited them to remix each others track in celebration of the friendship that binds us.

On the remix of Lizard Of Oz, Sansibar adds a catchy vocal sample and shifts the psychedelic electro vibe into more clubby territory. On the other hand, Reptant treats the subtle original by My Boom with his typical deep and penetrating production style.
