C12 is a multidisciplinary nightclub and platform run by the Deep in House collective, located in the heart of Brussels. It's a safe place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world. The project was launched in February 2018 and includes concerts, art installations, lives, club nights and exhibitions.

The Corona crisis is keeping our doors closed and dancefloor empty for several weeks now, with no hopes yet on new line-ups and crowds of enthusiastic dancers. But this unprecedented situation isn’t holding us still. Continuing to support our local Brussels and Belgian electronic music scene, C12 is proud to announce its own label with 10 music compilations dubbed Social Distancing. All artists involved are Belgian or strongly connected to the Brussels scene. Confirmed are Le Motel, Stellar OM Source, A.Brehme, Front De Cadeaux, Davy, OCB Casa Voyager, Cabasa, Techno Thriller, Orphan Swords, Different Fountains, Bear Bones Lay Low, Gols, Hadone, ... and our residents Session 4000, Kafim & Chris Ferreira. Compilations will also be curated by female artists promoting platform ‘Psst Mlle’ and queer culture collective ‘Benediction’.  

Each edition consists of a collection of several tracks and will be released every two weeks, leading to a total of approximately fifty tracks. All music will be available to add on your favorite streaming service Soundcloud, Youtube, Spotify (coming soon) and Bandcamp. In addition for each track we offer a limited amount of 500 free downloads through our Bandcamp page, where donations are also enabled for those who wish to support us and the artists involved.

Underground Brussels club C12 is proud to present the fourth chapter in the ten-part compilation ‘Social Distancing’. 
While their doors have to remain shut due to the pandemic, the club continues to support local Brussels & Belgian electronic music scene. 

‘Social Distancing 1.4’ is curated by ‘Psst Mlle’, a Brussels based platform focusing on non-masculine artists. 
Offering a plurality of styles by five female artists, Psst Mlle’s eclectic selection expresses the willingness to bring people from different backgrounds together.   

Deejay & music producer Dziri has truly become a pillar in the Brussels music scene. 
Born to a Belgian mother & Tunisian father, Sara Dziri is founder of Souk Sessions - focusing on the links made between electronic music and Arab & North African influences - and Not Your Techno - a rebellious techno music party in a LGBTQ+ safe environment. 

Her contribution to the ‘Social Distancing’ compilation is a highly intelligent uptempo track. On ‘Fuchsia’ she channels energetic rhythms, dramatic synths, Middle Eastern acidic sounds and echoes of an old forgotten Tunisian motion picture.

The first in a series of various artists to be released by Details Sound - The Spirit Of The Age Vol. 1 is a personal attempt to represent "the spirit" of this moment, an eye on the sea, where the initial intention of powerful and dynamic body music is changing, leaving room for a more contemplative and reflective way of dancing, where large places give space to the little ones, taking back the original spirit of being together.


On the A side, Anatolian Weapons opens with A Series Of Changes - a progression of looped vocals and acidic basslines that culminate in a full, liberating rhythm. Following A Hand Modern Cage focuses on a more hypnotic and evocative soundtrack that can perfectly match an atmospheric opening.

On the flip Gamma Intel’s Note To My Love delivers a mix of broken and electro rhythms that are part of the artist signature sound, ending with an intricate weave of melodic basslines. The last track Dense And Ragged is signed by the renowned london-based duo Vactrol Park who set the mood for a distopyan trip in 2049.
