Growing up listening to artists such as Aphex Twin & Daft Punk is what shaped his eclectic track selection and love for electronic music, along with this the influence of the early 00’s hardcore scene has given Barney a love for the harsher sounds which can be seen throughout his Techno mixes 🔨 

Barney seamlessly switches between genres showing off his varied music taste and mixing ability with each new project ⚡️


His latest project is @barneys_selects, a platform to showcase his favourite electronic artists and new music every month 🙏

Via his own Fossil Archive imprint, and labels such as ARTS, Radio Slave’s Rekids and Mike Dehnert’s Fachwerk, Fossil Archive aka Roberto has chalked up an arsenal of highly impressive releases that carry the torch for techno’s undiluted and original sounds. Drawing influences from the Detroit and Dutch techno palette, ‘Tungsten’ is an album that delights on every level, transcending through a complete range of ambient sounds and heavyweight beats.
