Quadratschulz returns to Clone / Dub Recordings with a sonic ode to Tokyo—six beautifully crafted tracks inspired by the neon-lit nights and electric pulse of the city.

Drawing from the spirit of Japanese electronics, arcade culture, and city pop nostalgia, he blends crisp rhythms with emotive melodies and playful synth work. It’s a journey through dreamy downtowns and rain-soaked alleyways, full of warmth, precision, and imagination.

Of course, Japanese electronics play a key role—led by the unmistakable playful sound of the Roland TB-303 weaving through the tracks like a main character.

Mechatronicast number 27 comes courtesy of Strasbourg's finest: @itako.

Itako has been exploring all corners of electronic music and as a DJ and producer he captures a certain adventurous, all killer-no filler attitude & sound in his productions and DJ sets that make them distinctively him. Playing with both trends and nøn-trends, in his mixes and through the evolution of his releases as well, he serves masterful concoctions of chugging acid, psychedelic industrial, breaks heavy bass music and trippy techno. The quality and range of his output is undeniable seeing his releases on labels as Sonic Groove, Lone Romantic, Reach Another System, Samo and Samet. He is based in Strasbourg where he is a resident at club Karmen Camina, one of European nightlife's hidden gems. The mix he recorded for us is an excerpt of one of these booming nights at Karmen Camina; 1,5 hours of trippy, underground goodness for the heads.

Gala, also known as Galanjah, is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is the co-founder of the party and record label @fusion_dance and former member of the dub band Nairobi. 

As a musician and producer, she has released two EPs, including Romance Layers with Mystery Friend, and has collaborated with artists such as Orion Agassi and Donald Dust. 
She has performed in Buenos Aires, throughout Latin America, and in Europe. 

Guest Mix 119 is a 100% vinyl recording, packed with brand-new cuts and a selection of rare gems.

Next up in the mix series is Brockout resident and queen of the Southwest underground, Ms Ogyny, aka Shibby .

It's been a massive year for Shibs, with a busy schedule of UK-wide gigs including Don't, I Love Acid, Orbital Gathering, and NSC - as well as consistently tearing up our Exeter parties. 

Volume 4 is a perfect introduction to Ms Ogyny's sound and style - a hypnotic, acid-soaked excursion off the beaten tracks of techno and electro. In her own words...

"A meandering mix of old and new - featuring tracks from all over the globe, as well as a special yet-to-be-released track from the late ReKaB. This was an unplanned mix I recorded at home last month (hence you may be able to hear some false starts beginning to creep in at times!) but it gives an overall flavour of what I tend to dig: dubby, acid-y, electronic groove-based music."

The ACCENTAPE series returns this winter to celebrate the label's tenth anniversary!!!

To mark the occasion, a new split has been created, with one side for each artist, continuing the label's goal of sharing music without limits of style, genre or signature.

This time, Sub Accent, founder of the label, shares ACCENTAPE010 with his long-time friend Accou, an artist active in the Belgian experimental underground scene. His sound blends elements of ambient, sleep music, breakbeat, experimental, tribal, and neo-classical influences. The result is detailed and textured, with fluid synths and crafted rhythms that meet soft, layered melodies. Together, these four tracks bring a forward-looking and urban feel.

On side B, Sub Accent offers an EP shaped like the soundtrack of an imaginary science fiction film, with both bright and shadowy tones. It recalls early works from artists such as FUSE / Plastikman, exploring a futuristic and slightly dystopian world. Minimalist yet rhythmic, this part of the release moves through different atmospheres, from spacey and mental techno to energetic breakbeats, ambient passages, and metallic sound design.

No Static Automatic is proud to cap off the year with the electrifying Cabin Pressure EP from seasoned producer and sound designer Luke Sanger. Set for release on limited edition vinyl, this four-track weapon is a potent fusion of classic electro rhythms and Sanger’s signature world of bleeps, wobbles, and modulated chaos. 

With a career spanning two decades at the nexus of music and technology, Luke Sanger is a relentless innovator. While his roots are often linked to techno, his artistic output defies easy categorization, constantly exploring the full spectrum of electronic music. On the Cabin Pressure EP, he turns his focus to electro, injecting the genre with his uniquely offkilter and captivating sound. 

The EP is a masterful display of analog synthesis. Sanger crafts simple, infectious basslines and leads, then sets them in motion, allowing them to converse, modulate, and evolve into a complex tapestry of sound. The result is a listening experience that is as intellectually fascinating as it is physically compelling. Over a bedrock of sturdy electro beats, Sanger layers acid basslines with wild envelope modulation, distorted humanoid samples, and an array of wobbly, techy textures designed to bring dancefloors to a state of ecstatic, unstable bliss. 

This is a record built for impact. The Cabin Pressure EP is not just a collection of tracks; it's a dynamic tool for DJs, guaranteed to become a secret weapon in sets that demand character and forward-thinking energy.
