Split #1 marks the debut of a new vinyl series, to be hosted on the Various Artists catalogue of Pi Electronics. The split series will be bringing two artists on the same vinyl, with this very first release presenting music by Greek producers Fragedis and Nemmett.

Coming from different backgrounds of electronic music, prolific figure of the Cretan islands’ dance scene, Fragedis and one of the Athenean founding members of the ᾽π᾽ crew, Nemmett, contribute their sharpest weapons to this release.

On the A side, Fragedis delivers a techno/breaks cut of dystopian melodies and vocal samples with his opening track “Flantza”. His second track, “Klirish” blends industrial leaning percussion with Detroit techno flavored synths.

On the flip side, Nemmett returns with his trademark industrial / breaks sound, in a hypnotic, rap vocal atmosphere with the track “Altars”. His broken beat influences go more noise with his second track “Teeth”, which concludes the B side of the vinyl.

The EP also features remixes from two legendary figures in the electronic music realm—The Hacker and the dynamic duo of Mick Willis & Blackmoon77. Brace yourself as they deconstruct and reconstruct the mechanized symphony, adding their unique signatures to this sonic manifesto.

"Our third vinyl release lands just before the close of the year and it is a special one. Petros Spatharos leads with a set of bangers distilling perfectly the sound of the label. Athens-based artist is widely known for his dark, immersive industrial sound, so yeah expect nothing less.

Side A starts with ”Datura”, layering heavy drums with dark reeses and syncopations - solid stuff. ”Xorkia” is an eyes-down track which will keep you in the zone with stellar percussion and atmosphere. ”Vultures” closes the first side with higher energy levels and more distinct breakbeat elements.

On Side B, Randstad remixes ”Datura” and pumps up the tempo to create a mind-bending industrial electro track with aggressive synths. Boris Barksdale wrap-ups the physical release by remixing ”Xorkia” and changing the core to techno while reworking percussion to create an industrial heavy-hitter track."

Today on META MOTO Premieres we have Chemical Pulp - a producer and DJ based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. “Reflejos de Ambiciòn” marks his first EP format release and debut of his own label Neurovision. And from there I knew what story I wanted to tell with my next Snuffo EP ... 

»Sunshine For A Depressed Mind« also got a remix treatment by Nerk (from legendary Techno group TokTok). And he delivered an absolute killer rework! 

As further tracks I added the restless »Nervous System« and the hypnotic »Unreality« to the release. 

Plus, there's a beatless reprise of »Sunshine For A Depressed Mind« as closing track. Now I'm really excited to share this new music with you. I hope it makes you happy, too.
