Istanbul’s Procombo turns in three rolling techno cuts for Radio Slaves’ Rekids Special Projects, backed with a remix from Amsterdam’s Sterac.

Active in Istanbul’s techno scene since the mid 90’s, Procombo holds a residency at Radio 2019, as well as heading up RX Recordings, an offshoot of the vital RX Istanbul club in the city. Arriving for the first time on Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects Label this September, the DJ/producer delivers three stomping originals, backed with a blinding remix from Steve Rachmad’s Sterac alias.

It’s been 4 years since the last music compilation on MindTrip. Mutable Minds brings together a mixture of five exceptional and talented artists whose sound matches perfectly with the MindTrip philosophy. Head honcho, Pfirter, and Swedish Pär Grindvik contribute the first track of the release with their diversified collaboration embodied in a hypnotic and extraordinary tune whilst Diego Amura takes the lead with a track that is characterized by driving rhythm and haunting sequences. Savas Pascalidis debuts on the label with a trippy-sci-fi interpretation and the release closes with one of the latest guests on MindTrip Podcast, Fanon Flowers, who takes us into a dark, mental and conceptual techno journey. The final outcome is mesmerizing and all four tracks can be seen on different aspects of an all night long set.

"Madrid-based imprint Trauma Collective are back with a vengeance. Their third dispatch comes from Pole Group associate and Order & Devotion main man Mario Campos aka Kwartz. The Reinforced Control EP sees their hometown partner-in-crime deliver more of his typically austere expressions in cerebral techno. Features the brutalist tones of war techno epic "The Nature Of Our Anger" awash in a mesmerising swirl of steely textures and visceral kicks, antagonising you with its erratic tempo shifts. The title track is a cyclical and linear DJ tool, properly geared for those heads-down moments under the strobe light, imposing a powerful groove on you in streamlined fashion. Next up, British legend Mick Harris, who inaugurated the label under his Monrella alias not long ago, returns here for a pounding rework of the track - venturing into greyscale industrial zones. Taking you deeper into amorphous Sunday morning vibes, the Berlin-based producer goes out all guns blazing on the dark patterns and mentalist tunnel vision of "Beneath The Surface"
