Hailing all the way from the central mountains of Colombia, Lopar ( @lopar_music ) brings deep and luscious sounds from the city of Manizales. A talented DJ in many genres, he navigates a range of styles and moods from ambient, dub and minimal to  deep & hypnotic techno & dnb. 

He began his career as a professional DJ in 2015 at Academia Decibel (Intelligent Division) in Medellin, Colombia and now is involved in local efforts as part of the "Natural" collective in Manziales to bring like-minded sounds and artists to the city, playing alongside talents like Anthony Linell & Polygonia.

To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

For our tenth instalment we’ve invited Jephta, a highly talented DJ from Amsterdam.
 
Jefta Wattimena, also known as Jephta, is a Dutch DJ based in Amsterdam and a resident of the Rotterdam-based organization Embodiment. His style is a hypnotic and immersive blend of driving and experimental elements. 

He firmly believes in supporting local communities and has already had the opportunity to play major festivals, acclaimed clubs, and community events throughout the Netherlands.

Aspiring to discover different scenes and cultures, Jephta is on a journey to expand his reach to the global music landscape.

Last year's rhytmic adventure led me to a new found passion for all sorts of break orientated sounds. 

To solidify this passion, I decided to compose a full-on dark drum 'n bass and halftime mix, consisting of my current favourite artists and labels of the genres.

In our next installment of Autoscopy, we delve into the sonic world of Sebastián Rubio, an artist with over a decade of experience in the local music scene. Nono (@nonomusik) is Noelia Rodriguez, a tireless investigator of avant-garde music, sound art, and the intersection between art and technology. As an expert curator of music and visual arts events through her platform Delicalisten, she has been responsible for the creation and success of respected electronic music series such as DNIT at CaixaForum Barcelona until 2020, and since then, the SoundSet Series at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque in Madrid. Through these platforms, she has hosted significant figures of contemporary electronic music such as Caterina Barbieri, Space Afrika, Grouper & Overmono. Additionally, she has worked as a programmer for various prestigious festivals and institutions.

A vinyl collector since childhood, Nono crafts sets that transport listeners to profound sensations, evoking a sense of calm.
