Olmo Rodríguez, known as Tevor Handa (@tevorhanda) from Sevilla, Spain, embarked on his electronic music journey in the year 2000, drawing inspiration from iconic bands such as The Chemical Brothers, The Durutti Column, or Kraftwerk. His DJ career, spanning 19 years, he initially explored the realm of house rhythms but swiftly unearthed his true passion within the classic techno genre. From that pivotal moment onwards, Tevor Handa's evolution as a DJ took a more serious and professional trajectory, infusing his sets with a technical and profound essence. Today, his Techno mixes are revered for their unwavering solidity, characterized by deep, hypnotic, and cerebral soundscapes that make a lasting impression, often extending into immersive extended mixes.

From jazz to dog

For our 11th instalment we've invited Imox, a Barcelona based DJ and co-founder of Sub Radio. 

Her sound transports us to the atmospheres and natural landscapes of the island of her childhood, accompanied by hypnotic grooves, tribal elements and cosmic textures, a progressive journey through unknown dimensions with overwhelming intensity.

This one-hour mix is a recording of her opening the night before the italian wizard Donato Dozzy at Human Club Barcelona. 

'A lot of inspiration for this set comes from the great maestro Dozzy, although I also tried to follow my instinct and feelings of the moment to create it with my personal touch' is what Luna said about this opening.

Eafhm is a multidisciplinary project created by the evolution of different artistic and exploratory stages.

This project has developed different facets, including a career as an interpreter and audio producer when experimenting with a wide variety of musical sequences. It seeks the integration of oscillating interpersonal ideas among the variety of solid conceptions. This project also defines the transformation of the artist that has developed under different aliases for many years.

Each interpretation is made to create an atmosphere based on sound art, generative art and Techno in its different variations.

新潟県で開催されたLabyrinth festival 2009の３時間セットの中の一部だよ。レコーディングしてくれたイベントクルーに感謝しているよ。
 

ーミックスに自身の曲を使用していますか？

いや僕らの曲は使っていない。僕らの好きなレコードと、あとは友人からのアンリリーストラックだよ。
 
 
ーこのミックスのコンセプト、またはアイデアを教えてください。
 
僕らの後に控えるDonnacha Costelloのアンビエントセットにお客さんを繋ぐため、出だしはゆっくりと上げていき、テクノのよりダークな部分を開拓しつつ、終わりはダウンビート・アンビエントでゆっくりと着地させた。  お客さんと会場のお陰で、僕らとても良いインスピレーションを貰えたよ。  僕らは大自然の中で、本当にエレクトロニック・ミュージックが好きな日本人とインターナショナルなクラウドと一体になったよ。  だからあとはもう流れるままにやるだけ。  ダンスフロアから見える顔の表情や笑顔を見ながら、僕らのフィーリングと感情に従うだけ…レコードバックからレコードが勝手に飛び出すようにして自然と選曲したよ。ただ単純にすばらしかった。
 
―近況と最近の活動について教えてください。

今 僕らはナポリにある小さなホームスタジオで数曲制作をしている。僕らが作っている曲はそれぞれ本当に違う個性があるんだ。僕らがエレクトロニック・ミュー ジック好きとして今日までに受けたそれぞれ違う影響によるそれぞれ違ったスタイルだ。できればこの何曲かが将来リリースされることを望んでいるよ。
 
 
―今後の活動予定を教えてください。
 
実はもっとギグ数を増やしたいんだよね。僕らが好きな音楽をプレイする機会を作ることが、常に良いインスピレーションを保てる唯一の方法なんだ。残念ながら近い将来僕らは町から離れてしまうかもしれないけど。ここのクラブシーンは結構大人しいから、もっと音作りと出演回数を保持できる場所を探そうと思っているよ。

Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.
