DJ Basilisk rewinds the tape to the Golden Age of Goa trance with Transmissions From Shambhala, a three-hour odyssey sculpted entirely from tracks produced between 1994 and 1996. These 37 selections chart a course through the work of sonic trailblazers---those analog alchemists who, armed with their rudimentary machines and an experimental zeal, tapped into uncharted dimensions of sound and transformation.

Expect mystic energy, spine-tingling melodies, swirling acid lines, and blissful atmospheres, all swirling together in hypnotic fashion. While deeply rooted in the Goa trance tradition, the journey occasionally ventures into neighboring realms of progressive and uplifting trance. Every layer is harmonically tuned and expertly blended, ensuring a smooth, immersive ride.

Transmissions From Shambhala [Goa Trance 1994–1996]

Since the project started in 2022, Antidot & DICA have quickly carved out their reputation in the trance scene through 100% hardware live acts blending old school goa and full-power acid trance.

Born from the fusion between two friends, DICA, renowned artist from the acid and rave scene, and Antidot, resident of the northern french festival Dox’Art, the duo can count on a deep complicity and a solid experience of the dancefloor. In a very short time, they get noticed for their undeniable taste for analog sounds and bring a breath of fresh air to the Goa scene through a modern approach to this music. A powerful and heavy touch added to the retroesque goa melodies, which allows them to find their place at some of the most renowned events of the genre: Dox’Art, Hadra or even Apsara, where their contagious energy manages to bring together purists and new generations of acid headz.

Fantapsy - Fractalicious (Live Mic Recording)

Right before his Budapest gig, Jannis Filteria visits our studio for a track-studded pre-party talk.

Jannis Tzikas is a musician and sound designer based in Sweden. Growing up in the synthesizer era, the 80’s, left its musical marks in his life and a desire to produce electronic music. This naturally lead to start collecting equipment and composing at the age of 13. A few years later Filteria was formed.
His first album “Sky Input” was released in November 2004 on Suntrip Records. It immediately obtained an immense recognition from the Goa scene. In retrospect, Filteria is considered as the spearhead of the NewSchool trend.

During 2007 the side project K.O.B. standing for Kind Of Behaviour was created with a more experimental and arguably darker side than Filteria. Besides the uptempo material, there are also downtempo and ambient beats in the making for an upcoming album.

From the ageHa club in Tokyo, to the paradise beaches of Brazil, to the northern parts of America, all over Europe and more. Jannis had gigs worldwide in over 30 countries and in many of the major festivals such as: Boom, Ozora, Antaris, Fullmoon Festival, Universo Paralello among others.
