I fully remastered this classic deep, cosmic set by Mouly. Used lossless rips and remasters, and tried to stay as true to the original transitions as possible. Added some limiting because it just makes these tunes sound so nice.

It's a hommage to one of my favourite sets of all time. I love the selection and mixing on this so much, but the audio quality of the original tape is not great. While the nuked tape aesthetics definitely add to the charm of the original, sometimes you just want crispy clear audio. And now we can finally hear the ending of Spellbound...

Emerging from the damp underbelly of the breakbeat biosphere, HYPNOTOAD 3000 presents Swamp Tapes '23–'25: an unbroken 40-minute sonic crawl through the murky wetlands of jungle, breakbeat, and ambient dub. Released on underground imprint Frogs in the Function, this full-length journey blurs the line between mixtape, concept album and rave artefact.

Somewhere between a bootleg Bukem tape from '94 and the startup sound of a forgotten alien drum machine, Swamp Tapes '23–'25 features 18 original productions, recorded straight to cassette in a single take. You might hear echoes of lounge-core trip-hop twisted into hardcore shellshock. Or maybe you're just hallucinating in the swamp again.

Lush Freak

An album made by Victor and me, coming from a shared interest in 90s breakbeats. It has four tracks that shift from calm atmospheres to steady rhythms. The opera mix is quiet and spacious, built from tones rather than beats. The space mix adds drive, with breaks, basslines and touches of acid. The club mix keeps things grounded and direct. Victor’s Hypnotoad mix ties it together in a way that works both at home and in a club.
