The latest release on the 'On Board Music' record label, 'Point D,' is an exciting six-track compilation showcasing the works of On Board Music's usual suspects and new talented producers such as Jin [靜], Polygonia, Nicole, Na Nich & Vera Logdanidi, Mown, and label boss Laura BCR. The compilation covers various genres, from drone ambient to quirky techno, making it an ideal choice for music lovers who enjoy exploring new sounds. Each track on the compilation offers a unique listening experience, taking the listener on a journey through different moods and emotions.

Our premiere for today, 'Journey' from Ukrainian duo Na Nich & Vera Logdanidi, is a mesmerizing deep house escapade. The track features a pulsating bass line that drives the rhythm forward while beautiful synth melodies float over an infectious rolling sequence. The overall effect is both hypnotic and uplifting, making it the perfect soundtrack for a night out on the dance floor. The track's name is quite appropriate because Na Nich & Vera Logdanidi take the listener on a journey through different sonic landscapes during these seven minutes.

PREMIERE: Na Nich & Vera Logdanidi - Journey [On Board Music]

In 2001, Regensburg-based Markus Guentner and Affin’s Joachim Spieth first crossed  paths through their contributions to Kompakt’s Pop Ambient series. Their creative  synergy resurfaces with ‘Overlay,' a six-track album that amalgamates decades of their  distinctive styles - a harmonious blend of Guentner's ethereal, atmospheric textures  and Spieth's pulsating rhythms.  

“We envisioned a process akin to masking and unveiling, revealing certain elements  while fading others, mirroring the essence of the album titles themselves. This  reflects how we approached the audio material, a philosophy extended to our album.  This collaboration thrived on a foundation of trust, cultivated organically, much like  our previous joint endeavors. Musically, we entrust each other almost instinctively”.
  
With meticulously crafted tracks showcasing their artistry in creating evocative sonic  landscapes, this release marks the inaugural entry in a series of collaborative works  by the duo. 

"With this album, the flow of things knows no distinct start or finish—rather, it's a  continuous stream of material in motion." 

'Overlay' will be released digitally and on a limited edition CD on November 3 via  Spieth's Affin Records.

Fabrizio Lapiana is an italian DJ, producer and a founder of Attic Music, based in Rome. He started his career as a Dj back in 1994, influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit . His dj sets are characterised by his incorporation of the old school aesthetic into his club-based material, that makes his approach kind of unique.

Fluidly moving from ambient/drone to techno and dub, Lapiana's mix for Bassiani is a 115-minute excursion into the mind-bending textures, that allows the artist to share his favourite tracks from varying areas of sonic world and quality dance music.
