"A remix package which well represent the multifaceted approach of Midgar to techno. Edit-Select opens with a long and groovy rework of 'Lost In The Instability', keeps the peculiar synth & basslines of the original cut, and goes further, carrying those elements to deeper dimensions. Synthek delivers a stabbing remix of 'Nibelheim', a killer techno cut where powerful broken beats continuously crash into the heaviest sonic waves. 'Alba' was originally an interlude solely composed of ambient sounds and ephemeral voices, which evolved with Luigi Tozzi's interpretation into a sweet and melancholic trip. Wata Igarashi to close the record, re-imagines 'Pulse Width' as a mind-stressing experience held in a frame of hollow drones"

Agnosia project began four years ago, they been influenced by different sound styles, from 90’s Shoegaze till contemporary Ambient and Techno.

Looking for a melancholic sound, they swim into distortioned melodies, mixing progressive and quiet grooves, swallowing you to a metaphorical trip inside the mind of the main character of the story in every release, using the thoughts as the principal way of expression.

The link between music and artworks to their ephemeral manoeuvres, is the principal feature reflected on the label, practicing a musical language through walls of sound and the personal feelings of Agnosia.

In every release, Ephemeral Manoeuvres, will count with a new artist who can change the script to make a new variation for the end of the story. In “Anatomy of Melancholia”, Ness joins the record, creating a daydreamed way of escape for the main character of the story, who’s trapped in his own mind exploration about the loss of a beloved person.

Natch Elements debut with Drone Capacity Ep by the uprising deep techno talent BLNDR. The french producer delivers 4 cuts delineating the primary label's aesthetics, additionally twisted up and remixed by label boss Synthek and compatriot Hydrangea. The record's intro is the ethereal Temples and Mothership, welcoming the listener to a sonic journey which takes the first beat/steps with Wandering Soul. This second cut is made out of fragmented drums alternating a solid kick and delayed vocals. Closing the first side, we find the powerful Drone Capacity, track which gives the title to the release, setting the pace higher and bringing a significant amount of energy in the game. On the flipside, the mystical groove of Silent Quest reveals some deep jungle's secrets and leaves the closing duties to razor-sharp Synthek remix of Drone Capacity which reworks the original elements adding heavy pressure and dancefloor vibes. Left out of the vinyl length the beautiful atmospheric rework of the evergrowing Hydrangea, drawing an alternative, more spacious and organic vision of SIlent Quest. This last cut will be available for free download in the same time of the physical release. NTCEL01 sow the seeds of a new catalogue that supports artists with certain attention for deep and detailed compositions.

German duo Obscure Shape & SHDW drop three robust Techno tracks in their first full release on Rekids this May.

One of the most exciting acts in Techno today, Obscure Shape & SHDW are the founders of From Another Mind - the label and party series making waves in South-Germany. Aside from Rekids, where they remixed Radio Slave’s ‘Vision’ last year, the pair’s abilities in the studio have seen them invited by Slam for two separate remixes of Monoloc and Envoy on Soma, with more projects to be announced.

‘Himmel Und Erde’ is a cavernous cut boasting colossal kicks and skipping percussion before a tantalising melody comes into play. ‘Am Ende Der Welt’ is more deep and atmospheric in comparison, blending dusky percussion with echoing synths until ‘Gefallene Engel’ demonstrates syncopated drums and an otherworldly hook that conjure up a mesmerising aesthetic to conclude the release.

Primal Code is the collaboration of two producers from Milano, Gabriele and Davide. Their sound search is characterized by natural soundscape recordings, hypnotic grooves and nostalgic atmospheres. Their first official release inaugurated a new Hypnus Records Series, titled Serum out on 4th November (hypnus.bandcamp.com/album/eteru). His Afterlife debut 'Glutes' was a favorite played across dark dance floors all year and his follow-up saw him team up with Miami powerhouse Danny Daze.
