The album CLEMENCY holds exceptional significance for CHARITY SsB, as it represents not only a music collection but also his bold venture and evolution in the realm of music production. This album signifies his transformation from a rapper into a versatile music producer. Moreover, it marks his first formal album after years of collaboration with the renowned Shanghai electronic music label GENOME 6.66 Mbp.

CLEMENCY comprises ten diverse tracks, each capturing CHARITY SsB's life reflections and musical insights at various points in time. From 2020's Only One and The Meaning of Life to Wood House and Zhuangzi created during Shanghai's lockdown in 2022, these tracks span several years, showcasing his creative depth and rich emotional world.

The album's title, CLEMENCY, embodies a profound philosophy. CHARITY SsB believes that in a world filled with desire, conflict, and war, and within the complexities of societal systems, music is a divine gift of mercy and solace to humanity. Music creation is his sole pathway to experiencing true freedom and spiritual liberation. It holds significant meaning in his life, serving as his soul's sanctuary and the pillar of his spirit.

Many tracks in the album, such as the nearly ten-minute-long Wood House and the ambient-rich Courier, display intricate segment connections and rich musical layers. These songs resemble unique journeys, with each journey offering distinct life meanings. Through these musical works, CHARITY SsB conveys his profound insights into life and his boundless passion for music. To him, music is like a utopia of the spiritual world, providing him with endless solace and inspiration.

Shanghai/Taipei-based producer Tzusing returns with  一瞬千擊 (In a Moment a Thousand Hits), continuing his exploration of the seamier side of life as his music mutates from industrial and EBM roots into stranger territories. Like the titular martial arts master of his recent LP 東方不敗, who can only achieve invincibility by denying  his own masculinity,  一瞬千擊 asks if obsessive pursuit of a specific identity can only lead to its negation, the opposite of the intended image. Amidst the malevolent throat singing samples, suona-like drones, and occasional shouts and howls in Taiwanese, the music’s slamming percussive weight nods towards the most reviled forms of mainstream dance music. Treating every available tool as valid, Tzusing interrogates taste, constructed identity, and the desire for power through five tracks of destabilized funk and thundering processions.
