Selection of Music

Original piece for a school project combining post metal with synthwave sounds. Recorded in 2023. First version was composed already in 2022 with a little bit different melodies and drum arrangements. I found it a good idea to use this song as a school project to experiment the style with a real, organic drumkit and a real drummer instead of samples and drum machines. I also think, it was a great idea to have someone else play the guitar parts instead of me playing them. 

Composing, arranging, recording, mixing and mastering done by me. Crazy amounts of reverb!

Had an idea for a main theme for a mechanic hivemind collective. 

This one had a surprising low amount of tracks. It was also a perfect opportunity to use more automation with multiple parameters combined.

I've always felt that System Shock's soundtrack and its composer, Greg LoPiccolo, don't get enough attention, so I wanted to honor it by creating it again with my own style.
