Hailing from Essex England, Mark Fun has always had an insatiable hunger for music. He began playing the piano at the age of nine and by 12 he was writing music and performing in the school band.  Nowadays, Mark is well-knownin music circles, as the biggest party animal in some of Sydney’s hottest clubs, including SPICE, BURDEKIN, GOLDFISH KX, HOME, amongst others, and he has always shared that limelight within the DJ booth. 

Now a DJ that loves to mix with Abelton, his sets feature some sensual synth sounds including hypnotic grinding basslines, and as his DJ name says it DARK-MARK, Mark loves to create sexy, dark and driving mechanical and industrial sounds, and only takes a different approach as he adds amazing piano concertos as that part that tantalises the soul and will have you closing your eyes and raising your hands in blissful ecstasy. On the horizon, we will see new releases of some pumping industrial dark techno, and some rich deep house. 

Named by good mates, “Captain Fun”, Mark takes the stage with seriousness and shows he has only music and fun instilled at any an awesome clubbing environment. The nickname came about from putting atmosphere into everything, and especially the punters, Dj’s, and staff in each and every venue Captain Fun or DJ DARK-MARK cares to play in.
