VASEY: A four piece musical entity with a massive, yet dynamic, modern rock sound.

A chance meeting through MySpace bought the British band to fruition in 2010 and November 2013 will see the release of their debut album “Be Someone Else” - a life affirming, guitar driven record that is almost cinematic in tone.  Created by singer/songwriter Karl Vasey, drummer Aidan Hunnisett, guitarist Ben Perdue and bassist David Amar, “Be Someone Else” wrangles angst and emotion from each of its 11 tracks. 

The song “Write a New End” found its way onto the soundtrack of the indie movie: “The Devil’s Tower” starring Jason Mewes (Jay of “Jay and Silent Bob” fame) while the video for the single “The Otherside” enabled VASEY to lay the foundations for a small, but loyal following. 
Accompanying the album’s release, videos for the songs “Fade Out” and “Fiction” showcase the diversity of a band aiming to capitalise on their evident public interest (immortalised in an American fan’s tattoo of the band’s moniker). 

Summer 2013 saw VASEY play a number of gigs and low key acoustic shows concluding with a festival appearance, playing to over 2,000 music lovers in attendance.  Brimming with confidence, VASEY eagerly look towards the impending release of “Be Someone Else” and what the future holds in store…


Greg Holden is a British singer-songwriter known for his powerful songwriting and meaningful lyrics. His career took off with the success of his song "The Lost Boy”, written about the book What Is The What? by American author Dave Eggers. “The Lost Boy" gained widespread US attention after being featured on the TV show Sons of Anarchy. The track also helped raise significant funds for the Red Cross. Holden’s most notable achievement came with his co-writing of Phillip Phillips' hit single "Home," which became the best-selling American Idol coronation song of all time and earned multi-platinum status.

Over the years, he has released several albums, including I Don’t Believe You, the major label release Chase the Sun, featuring the songs “Boys in the Street”, labeled “A Perfect Song” by Actor Tom Hanks, and “Hold On Tight”, used extensively on commercials, films and TV shows.

All his albums reflect his socially conscious approach and his dedication to crafting authentic, resonant music. He has toured the world extensively and has shared the stage with prominent artists like Ingrid Michaelson, Brandi Carlile, Grace Potter, Butch Walker and A Great Big World, building a loyal fanbase along the way. Despite being an independent artist, Holden’s work continues to reach global audiences, solidifying his place in the music industry. He recently launched a podcast about the music industry called ‘DROPPED’, with his co-host Matt Belmont from the band Belle Mt.

In 2025 Greg will be releasing his fifth studio album and to celebrate he will be doing a monthly residency in his hometown of Portland, OR between January and April, at The McMenamins White Eagle Saloon. Tickets available on his website.
