The Queen of Pop took on the New York house sound, exposing the sights, sounds and moves usually confined within the walls of clubs such as the legendary Sound Factory to the masses. 

The result is my all-time favourite Madonna moment, and some might whisper that it indeed was her finest hour. 

This interpretation is much sparser and restrained, although I can assure you that 'those pianos' do make an appearance - but not on this clip thanks to Soundcloud's cunning copyright protection system.

It's obviously not in the same league as the original (how does one compete with perfection?), but it sure was a hell of a lot of fun to make regardless.

If it gets enough attention/requests, I may make the full version available for download in the future, somehow.

Cubenx (Cesar Urbina) is one of many talented artists InFiné has introduced me to over the years. Last April Cesar and I both happened to be in Cannes for the film festival, so we decided to meet up. In what turned out to be a very drunken night out, I managed to convince him to let me have a go at remixing Mercurial, probably my favourite track of his.
