BARRY WHITE's Love Unlimited Orchestra ("Somebody's Gonna Off The Man") from the "Together Brothers" Movie Soundtrack vs. Method Man ("Release Yo Delf") from his debut album "Tical". 

In the early 2000's, I performed/recorded this Mash-up 'LIVE' (in one take); no computers were used in this remix. The only equipment that I used was my Denon 9000 CD decks & Numark mixer, creating loops, cutting hot starts & manipulating the internal F/X on the DENON unit to produce this coupling of musical styles. Again, no overdubs or post production... hope you like it!

My jazzy remix/mash-up of a NAS classic single from his debut album "ILLMATIC" in 1994. The instrumental track "Shining Pain" is from the 2003 album "MEMENTO" by the project named SOEL from France. 

This is definitely one of the more simple mash-ups I've done -- it didn't take much effort, other than beat-matching, but I really like the vibe. 
And of course the Richard Pryor sample fits so perfectly ;-)
