Ever since the German producer known as Claptone got his start just a year ago, he has been awarded artist of the year on the German Trendcharts DCC 2012, and has held his spot on Beatport’s Top 10 Tracks in the deep house category. No Eyes, which features the vocals of Jaw from dOP has been getting love from all over the world including plays by Annie Mac and Pete Tong ('Essential Tune') on BBC Radio 1 who named Claptone 'Future Star of 2013' at the beginning of the year. 
It’s a gripping deep house production with an expressive melody, driven by the low and eerie bass line. The airy keyboard chords gives it the personality of a dark, daydream vibe, while the progression is rhythmic and funky. The fresh vocals interlock with the deep house instrumental, creating a song that will be bumping in the back of your mind for a while.

Beyond a Kasper Bjørke guest spot and a smattering of live performances, there isn't much to kooky Icelandic group Sísý Ey's name. Well, until now – and what a way to make an entrance. "Do It Good" is outrageously fun: a bobbling bassline, coursing synth action and emphatic earworm vocals interlock to supreme effect; Neville Watson's aptly named "Power Dub" does similar damage.

It's the same kind of raw, untrammelled energy that Mr Intl label boss Andy Butler provided in abundance when stripping down to his underwear during a boiling Hercules & Love Affair session this time last summer. In a different set of circumstances, this would have been a nailed-on no.1 smash, but alas.

The duo comprised of Benson Herbert and Leo Picking, received mad love on their Rain Away and Tonight EP’s, both released on king of the deep, Kerri Chandler’s imprint Madhouse and now play their part in Dirt Crew’s Deep Love 15 compilation with this seven minute, jazzy slice of heaven. Its been two years since the boys dropped this exclusive mix for i-D and we have enjoyed watching them grow and develop their sound into the revered producers we see today. Dropping 14th September, Deep Love 15 also features incredible exclusive tracks from label residents and new faces alike including John Barera, Waifs & Strays, PBR Streetgang, Rhythm Operator, Soul of Hex and Peckham’s Laurence Guy.
