In partnership with CHANEL, i-D have launched Intangible Matter, an immersive online experience created by Lucy Hardcastle for The Fifth Sense inspired by CHANEL Nº5 L'eau.   

To complement the interactive space, a soundtrack called “Xiaoya · Blossoming Flowers  / 小雅·裳裳者华” has been created by producer @Fatima-Al-Qadiri featuring @Li-Yuchun (Chris Lee). The song name refers to a poem from The Book of Odes, China’s oldest collection of verses and a mainstay of traditional Chinese education, reinterpreted here for a new generation.  
   
Working together for the first time through remote recording, Fatima and Li each bring their unique take and experience to the project: Fatima Al Qadiri is a widely celebrated producer and visual artist, whilst Li Yuchun is one of China’s most iconic singing superstars and a fashion stalwart.

When we asked Seoul singer, DJ and producer 박혜진 @ParkHyyeJin if she'd consider making i-D a mix, she obliged, offering up this absolute odyssey. “It’s just a mix that says, ‘let’s dance all night long’,” she told us. And honestly, it’ll make you want to do just that.
