From the passionate lands of France, Arnaud Galoppe, known as Focal and Kinosura, has hand-mixed an emotional labyrinth of dark techno and melancholy ambience in Ultimae’s latest compilation.
Polarity is a double-sided conglomerate of electronic expressions from all over the world, spanning across atmospheric soundworlds of intimate drone and deep, industrial progressions. 
This collection of heartwarming soundscapes and foot-stomping house beats is smoother than butter, a series of 26 top-notch tracks that paint an interesting, auditory adventure. Although the album has a minimalistic approach, it offers a surprisingly detailed production. Each track is layered with expert craftsmanship and hypnotic melodies laced against diverse, psychedelic noise echoing in the distance.
Polarity is certainly an experience worth traversing, and we are proud to host it as an excellent addition to any electronica connoisseur's sound-library.

Its been around 6 months since my last AfterHours Session, so I decided to take a months break from GeistCast (returning soon) and dive in to the deep sounds of laid back grooves and deep progressive.

What an AMAZING time it was at Burning Seed this year! Thank you  Sunset Island for making every sunset an epic experience for everyone attending this intimate, communal burn.

Sunset Island organised Bhima the Dragon, Coco Poco Loco & the K-Sub art car sound system hook up, which provided surround sound for 1,800+ people that came down to enjoy the sunset on Friday.

Special thanks goes out to Sam Gilmour from Canberra (Renegade Fire Service) for accompanying me with his trumpet throughout my set .. Definitely a highlight of my DJing career!

Iain Dallas, Born in Cape Town, South Africa, had an early inception to house and techno. He started spinning vinyls in the first Acid House night clubs in the late 80’s, followed by the birth of underground night clubbing. He created his own samples from his forever evolving vinyl collection to introduce authentic sets throughout the 90’s dance scene before moving to the U.K.

For 15 years he Dj’d internationally, produced his first electronic tracks, and was the founder to Peach Records to which he assigned releases to the likes of Nicholas Jaar, Kasper Bjorke, No Logo, DJ Disse to name a few. In addition, he played a pivotal roll in establishing well known music brands, parties and getting involved in all aspects of the industry. 2006 found himself alongside the decks with one of his DJ / Producer peers, Sasha.

Forever evolving he detaches to any genre...but never avoiding the augmentation and intensification of Electronic, Techno or Hypnotic intonations. His sets are known to be subtle and thought provoking, but then brings you straight back into a sweat class at 130 BMP to the middle of the dance floor.

2015 and 2016 saw his first appearances at AfrikaBurn, playing alongside some of the most creative line ups with local and international support.
