This year I decided to provide my fellow Burning Man family with a gift that’s intentional and that comes from the heart.  Something that could potentially enhance their experience and guide them through the dust.

And that gif my friends, is the gift of music. 

As we approach the Man Burn and our hearts fill up with excitement. That nervous anticipation that something greater than all of us is about to happen, I want to take a moment to wish you all a happy, healthy and stupid fun burn.

Feel free to download this gift to your device and use it as you please.  It might become useful to you on your way to the playa. When you are still hours away and your streaming services stop.  When you reach that exciting check point where all reception is lost and you have finally unplugged.  You may find use for it at camp while you rest with your friends. Duboko Deep is passionate collector & DJ coming out of Zagreb (Croatia). His love to music started in early age. His mother and father collector’s of chanson francaise,jazz music,canzoni italiane,Sinatra,Dean Martin, soundtrack’s etc. His passion for music begins with vinyl records of disco, italo, hi-energy, Canadian disco, synth-infused, 80s music, soul …He got involved in the electronic music & house in late 80s, shortly after club music took over him. From the very beginnings Deep house was sound to which he remained most faithful, simply because it was love at the first listen! And so it continues… His musical selection is best described as pure, deep, melodic vibes which takes you “Duboko” (“Deep” in Croatian)! Trough his sets you can feel eclectic beautiful synth works, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, oriental sounds, and occasional vocal hooks. His music styles are open minded. He practises emotional tunes, and it does not matter whether are new or old. It is important that they raise his emotional moment which can reach out to listeners through his selections. And so it has for years, through various clubs, lounge bars, on different kinds of events like museums, beaches giving out smiles and satisfaction to his listeners. His passion for music is to explore and mix so Deep musical languages.

Alex Cecil is an up and coming DJ and producer highly regarded in the Miami and NYC underground scene. Known for his unique sets blending diverse musical styles, Cecil’s sound lives in the delicate intersection between dark indie dance and uplifting melodies.  As he put it, “There can be both, and it can be beautiful.”  Some call his style “a playful warehouse attitude” and some describe it as a trippy alternative reality in the future.

This unique take on performance, composition and transition come from him being a classical musician since age 7.  His music seamlessly weaves moments of peace, tension, aggression, and resolution, taking listeners on a journey. 

A mastermind of mischief — always scheming with a smile on his face. Lovable, menacing and undeniably talented. After years of dedication starting with an underground gig in downtown Manhattan, he’s worked his way up to performing every year at the best day party of Burning Man — DISTRIKT as well as other top sound camps at Burning Man such as Miki Beach.

You may have heard him spin at Miami strongholds such as Floyd at Club Space, ATV, Treehouse, Do Not Sit, Amsterdam staple Adam Tower, or NYC’s House of Yes. He’s  shared the bill with the likes of DJ Tennis, Maceo Plex, Bob Moses, DJ Three, Echonomist, Art Department, Paco Osuna and Stacy Pullen amongst others.

Cecil’s debut single “Alpha Lupi” on Staybad charted at #1 and he quickly followed up on this success with multiple top 10 releases on labels such as Lost On You, 925 Music, Rvdiovctive, Deep Playa and Parallel. 2023 has been strong with 2 EP’s on Deep Playa and Popgang Records plus his popular single “Art Thoughts”. Fresh off a summer playing in Europe, catch him performing in the US in the upcoming months.  Keep an ear out for his upcoming tracks.
