We’re very happy to welcome Miami based Dj and Producer Alex Cecil and Belgian Gal Emjie for this chapter 28 of Critical Monday records.
The lead track, "Hip Aliens," is a genre-bending experience that fuses indie dance vibes with a subtle dash of acid and haunting vocals. The track carries a cosmic, otherworldly energy, creating a soundscape that feels both futuristic and nostalgic.
On the B-side, "Nebula Navigator" delivers a deep, rolling bassline that propels the listener through a galactic journey. This track is pure dancefloor energy, with its intricate layers and spacey atmosphere making it an immersive listening experience.

Definition: a face-to-face meeting, or private conversation between two people, usually in an intimate setting;  

An intimate setting it was.  Three years ago at Love Burn in Miami, before even exchanging names, we went b2b for 13 hours.  Not until the 10th hour did Jeremy look at Alex, and say “Who are you?”  Alex looked back at Jeremy and asked the same question, “who are you?”.  Several years later, after developing what would become a best friendship, they took to the decks again.  It was like they never left that storied beach in Miami.  Realizing that what they shared was a connection that both had sought, but had never found, they tested the waters once again.  This “once again” is the recording.  Deep in Brooklyn.  No limits.  Harnessing all that defines friendship, pushing the limits of sound, they danced, and danced and they danced.
