Shayna Sands is a songwriter from Corpus Christi Texas where she made her start before making her way across Texas, and then NYC where she immersed herself in the local blues scene learning from seasoned pros and mentors like SaRon Crenshaw, and the late Bill Sims Jr. She started freshman year of college with a handful of songs, and since then she has made a name for herself, and toured the U.S. and Europe. She has played with several combinations of instrumentalists and currently performs as a solo artist or with her band, Shayna Sands and the Shams , with Joseph Soto on Bass, RJ Ramon on lead guitar, and Josh Hurtardo on drums.

Her dynamic performances and heart-felt lyrics bring an authenticity to her craft uncommon to today's music market. From blues riffs, to harmonica wailin' to classical techniques, her work intrigues even the most jaded concert goer.

 
Her latest album, MOTIONS, is scheduled to be released on Spotify, itunes, and BandCamp on July 26.
