St. Lumen - Another Day

I am aware that I may not be that young music creator. But, I'm cool with that, I have been into music my whole life. I started Djing at the age of 14/15. I am from Belleville Illinois by way of East St. Louis Illinois ( Original place of birth- 618 yea yea !!!). A few difficulties hit me over the last few years. My mom was murdered three years ago, and I had lost the ability, desire, or urge to write any poetry or music. Her death affected me that hard. Fast forward to the present, I came across an app that dealt with creating and owning your own songs. Well, I tried it and GOD TOUCHED MY MIND, HANDS, & THOUGHTS AGAIN, thank you GOD!!! I was finally able to write my mother's song. "Invisible Hands",  is that song written to my mother, Barbara J Rowe, we still LOVE U & Miss U. I hope my music brings my fans and followers as much pleasure and joy as it brings me to create it. Thank you for your following and support. Be blessed. Here I would like to present music composed and produced by myself (multitracking guitars, bass, and drums) and pieces that were created in the context of various bands since 1990. Some of the tracks are completely worked out, some are demos, some are from jam sessions, and some are live recordings. When relevant, in each single track the band name is given, the respective players are listed, and details as to the background of the music are presented.
All drawings and paintings were done by myself and, in some cases, by my wife, Andrea.

Music here moves across many styles — from re-imagined baroque ideas to contemporary songwriting, pop, R&B, classic rock, punk, jazz-tinged and world-influenced sounds.

The songs often balance slow, unfolding passages with sudden, more powerful moments — shifting in mood and intensity like seasons rather than staying in one place.

If you enjoy music that takes its time, but isn’t afraid to strike hard when it needs to, you might feel at home here.

Some of the more recent songs use Suno Cover at high similarity to my original material as a way to reinterpret and explore ideas, while mixing AI-assisted and non-AI tracks, edited and assembled manually. 

I prefer collaborating with musicians — especially vocalists — whenever possible, and I’m always open to it (If interested to collaborate, send me a message..). When that isn’t feasible, some of the more recent songs use Suno at high similarity to my original material (85%) as a way to reinterpret and explore ideas, while mixing AI-assisted and non-AI tracks, edited and assembled manually.

I listen across eras — from Bach, Vivaldi, and older traditional forms to modern songwriting.

I’m more interested in musical storytelling than in scale or trends, and in building on existing ideas rather than being different for its own sake.

Many pieces begin as written sketches and small experiments, shaped gradually over time.
