Growing up surrounded by soul, funk, disco, and house sounds emanating from his family's Technics 1200s, Tommaso's eclectic style transitions from rare ethnic grooves to the infectious beats of nu disco and soulful electronic music.
His talent has earned him performances at renowned clubs and festivals throughout Italy, including Rec Room Serendipity Club/Dancity Festival in Foligno and Fat Fat Fat Festival in Macerata.

TS Mix 078: Tim Humphrey

This time we go stateside and to New York where JM De Frias has been running the Sequencias lavel since 2011.

Now into its second decade, Sequencias continues building up a reputable catalogue of heady, more or less dance floor geared burners from the likes of D’Marc Cantu, Ali Berger and another Seaside favourite m50 under the Area alias.

As he isn’t one to flood the airwaves we’re delighted to have De Frias come through with a 60 minute selection of first class house and techno. From classic Chicago to more contemporary NY sounds, it's all in there and it's all club ready. @sequencias

Obsessive music purveyor, avid record collector and regular radio face, Luca hosts his E2-E8 show on East London’s Netil Radio, where he showcases new music he is into and invites new artists and record players, mainly from the local scene. Since 2021 he also turned E2-E8 into a record label, putting new local artists on the map and exploring electronic music in its many facets.
Luca can cover a broad range of sounds in his sets, from ambient to techno and everything in between.

«I've put this mix together after an inspiring weekend in the North of England, celebrating the birthday of the Golden Lion in Todmorden where Andrew Weatherall left an indelible mark.
The mix includes music from Weatherall himself, alongside music that would have comfortably sat in some of his ALFOS sets (never above 120BPM!), tracks I was reminded of during the two days of partying, and music that in one way or another has to do with Vladimir Ivkovic who closed proceedings on Saturday night (what a set sir!). The cruising speed stays around 100BPM - but the reassuring steadiness of the pace is contrasted by the variety of sounds and beat patterns throughout the mix.»

Either when holding the bar for over a decade at Soundwall - one of the reference webzines for the Italian electronic music landscape, working as artistic director for the Roman party RNY or during his two-decade long digging journey, Matteo Cavicchia's life has always been guided by music and the desire to explore and absorb as many artistic stimuli as possible.
Basically Ugly Covers was born in 2023 as an ode to the bad taste for record covers' artworks from back in the day, the surface under which some of the most underrated and funniest gems of (not only) dance music are uncovered.

Tiella Sound is the reflection of Luca Bigote’s "fluid" music vision, where genres blend and boundaries fade away. The project includes a radio show on @lyl_radio, a mix series and a record label.

Luca Bigote is an Italian DJ and music curator with wide and “fluid” tastes across the music spectrum, currently based in Milan after a long spell in Berlin’s vibrant clubbing scene.
His sets are immersive journeys blending rarefied Soft Electronica, floating Downtempo beats, warm Organic Grooves and a rich array of House and Techno nuances. This versatile approach has led him to share  stages with influential artists such as Tornado Wallace, Fantastic Man, Tiger & Woods, Rahaan, and Patrice Scott among others. Remarkably, he delivered a highly acclaimed six-hour set at Buttons party in Berlin, one of the most iconic events within  the city’s LGBTQ+ nightlife scene.
Over the years, he has been invited to contribute to many radios and podcast channels from all over the world, including United We Stream (DE), HÖR (DE), Kiosk Radio (BE), Radio Raheem (IT), Rocket Radio (IT), Linea (IT), Radio Panini (DK), Rhythmic Culture (NL), Amok Radio (MK) and Teder.fm (IL) to name a few.
Since 2020, he has also been crafting ambient introspective soundscapes under his experimental alias, Nostalgia Del Futuro, expression of his interest for non-club oriented music.
In the past, he curated the ‘ritmo’ nights at Klunkerkranich in Berlin, hosted ‘FMUD’ summer parties in his hometown Gaeta (IT), and collaborated with renowned record stores such as OYE Records and Sound Metaphors.
