Written from Eve's perspective, this song captures her anger, sadness and frustration at being cast from the garden, simply for seeking knowledge. I wanted to give voice to a woman scorned for centuries. I'm also interested in exploring how the stories we tell about women affect how we think about the, treat them, and enact policy that primarily impacts them.

This song is very close to my heart.  I decided to record it with acoustic guitar and vocals only to focus all of the attention on the  lyrics and emotion.  I hope that it reminds you that every day is a gift and to take nothing for granted.

An upbeat and soulful love song with a retro sound describing a strong and aspirational kind of love for today's modern women.  A song about the kind of love we all deserve to find, where a man supports a woman in the spotlight, believing in her right and desire to fly, a love that runs deeper than the superficial, that can weather life's many storms...while still leaving room for romance and butterflies.
