I wanted to give voice to a woman scorned for centuries. I'm also interested in exploring how the stories we tell about women affect how we think about the, treat them, and enact policy that primarily impacts them.

An upbeat and soulful love song with a retro sound describing a strong and aspirational kind of love for today's modern women.  A song about the kind of love we all deserve to find, where a man supports a woman in the spotlight, believing in her right and desire to fly, a love that runs deeper than the superficial, that can weather life's many storms...while still leaving room for romance and butterflies. A modern, yet timeless sound with powerful vocals that will leave the listener with chills.
