Amidst the myriad of drumtracks and DJ tool-oriented EPs that have recently emerged from all areas of techno, a vision of strength, structure and personality shines through in Deapmash's outstanding debut material.

Based in Caen, France, he's got equal amounts of Berlin's fierce, serious techno, Manchester's warehouse-inspired straight-forwardness, Glasgwegian ceiling-thumping Sub Club vibes and the Parisian tongue-in-cheek take on everything that's trending - which turns it into something smashing, daring, flamboyant and groovy.

On remix duty we have the privilege of being joined by Ultramajic's Chambray, who has his own excellent methods of paving the sonic route to something new that will undoubtedly reach the world's best techno dancefloors.

Wilde Calm is proud to present String Figures, the latest project from Pocketknife working under his new moniker Boonlorm. A ten track album featuring “piano not piano” house music created solely with a prepared piano and raw drum programming that pays homage to Chicago, Detroit, and the 20th century avant-garde. String Figures is “screw music” in the most literal sense with direct ties to the late composer John Cage who created the first prepared piano pieces by inserting objects into the strings of a grand piano. The sound that resonates is a rich combination of unique timbres. String Figures buzzes, vibrates, and jacks all at once.

Chambray is the alias of André Rost who has gone on to deliver some massive dancefloor heaters full of punchy house tracks such as "Anew" and "Rub". The Berlin based producer signed to Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic imprint back in 2014 & since 2017 he's releasing tracks independently on record-labels like Dirtybird, Unknown To The Unknown, W&O Street Tracks, &Friends and so on. As an artist and producer Chambray experimenting a lot with new sounds, song structures and workflows to develop himself. Strongly influenced by techno and ghetto house, accompanies by african rhythms, his unique dealing with staccato stabs and special placing of ad-libs makes his sound distinctive. He remixed artists like Boys Noize, Amtrac, Panteros666 (just to name a few) and collaborated with Laurent Garnier, Truncate, DJ Haus, VONDA7 & Kill Frenzy. His most memorable day in his career as musician was when he got back in 2016 a personal invitation from Richie Hawtin to perform due to his PLAYdifferently mixer launch at Boiler Room Berlin.
