For the EPM Podcast ‘Works’ has pulled out all the pit stops. It’s recorded live from fabric for Laurent Garnier & Scan X’s Cod3 QR party earlier this year, cementing his role as one of the label’s key artists. It’s lights out and down the straight with Agoria and NOEMIE before revving past &ME, Robert Hood, Felix Da Housecat and Basement Jaxx and then taking the chequered flag with an adrenaline filled finish in a medley of his own tracks to see the set out. Paired with it is a pitch perfect parody of the Resident Advisor “Breaking Through” series where Works Of Intent interviews himself to bizarre and hilarious effect! A must read.

Lucia Haze is a Mexican artist who has been on the scene since 2012. Her silky mixing combined with her musical style of soft techno and house rhythms earned her a spot in top nightclubs in Mexico City. She eventually went on to play at sought-after festivals around Mexico, including EDC and Pal Norte. Lucia has expanded beyond mixing and into her own live act which she calls “Sexy Vocals.” Blending her voice with techno, tropical and deep house, Lucia has created something that is ethereal, groovy and feminine. She has toured the US, Argentina and Colombia, receiving international recognition and accolades. In 2016, she was awarded “Best Deep House DJ” by DJ World and in 2018, she made the “Bud Light Hit Makers” list with her single “That Life”. Additionally, she was a finalist in Buenos Aires’ “Musikplatz: Musikrennen” and in 2020, DJane Mag Latin America included her in their top 100 at LATAM level at position 80. Lucia currently lives in New York City which has led her to a weekly residence at Moxy Chelsea, Fleur Room and shows in emblematic spots. Today she has 27 singles across digital platforms with more than two million plays and was recently signed to Insomniac Recs. STNS sub-label which has had a big impact on her career.

When pandemic hit and the fires burned through Belden we were all unsure if we would get another chance to experience this magical place again. I held my Sunset memories so dear during that time. This set is a dedication to that fantasy becoming real again, to my beautiful friends and our undying love for each other, to the music that reminds us of special people and special places in life and to Belden: her forest, her Feather River and her California magic!

I like to think music, just as life, is an adventure. 

Throughout this endeavor, I have been pondering over what defines my music. While gathering what I've learned since my first time in Amsterdam with my temporary settlement in Paris, I've been nurturing a propensity towards percussions and african beats. 

Attempting to create a cocktail of bouncy tunes, I give you Tarzan. This is what I hope a fine mix between light and dark harmony whose sole goal is to make you dance.

Following the holiday celebrations, I've decided to start 2018 anew. Eveil ushers in a new path quite different from what I've been doing until now. Embracing a more complex genre of house, Eveil regroups a collection of "spiritual" tunes you could listen and dance to. Finally, this work marks the beginning of a collaboration with my brother Alex Coly under the name Coup De Foudre.

Invested in a more conscious approach of my music, this is also a tribute to Malcolm X and Jean D'Ormesson.

Following my very first performance in Amsterdam Open Air, I am thrilled to introduce « purée de piment ».

« Purée de piment » or « pimento paste » is a typical Cameroonian spice recipe that will uplift each and any of your meal. Through such naming, my endeavour is to bring forth a collection of genres I’m fond of, arranging them in my very own way. From suave African and west indies disco tunes, we dive in some iconic house French produced songs before digging deeper into D-House. 

With a lot of different depths to it, « Purée de piment » aims to become at the same time, a chill yet exhilarating summer anthem.

« Moby Deep » is my white whale. 

It has been quite sometime now that i have been willing to create a wavy recording, going deep, electronic and perhaps hard as to translate what I have been going through since I fully dedicated myself to music. I found inspiration for this piece when i broke my ankle a few months ago. From that powerless perspective, I have tried many times to find the exact formula to put my frustration into music. The recording happened during my time in the south of Italy when I felt at peace and rested. After a few finishing touches, I give you my white whale, recorded live: my pain, my love, my anguish, and my happiness.
