I've loved this song since its release so I decided to take a stab at covering it. This is my first recording using my new Starcaster which is why the guitars sound so much "beefier" than past uploads. I also added a synth bass and blended it with the rhythm guitar. I sort of half-assed the vocals as I thought it would end up being a throwaway take, but after cranking up the pitch correction I found myself thinking it was kind of similar to the effects of the original track so I let it be.

Track Three of the “Predatrice”  album.
“Predatrice” is the feminine of “predator” in Italian. 
The project is something between a play, a 70s Italian horror movie soundtrack, industrial, noise, post metal, sludge and dungeon synth. 
It takes place in the 80s and tells the story of a naive young girl who puts a personal ad on a newspaper, hoping to find the love of her life. The man who writes back turns out to be a creep, however she fails to read the signs and ends up being drugged and killed on their first date. By divine intervention she is resurrected as a vengeful zombie hungry for brains, who embarks on a hunt for her abuser.

When Stovetops approached me with this idea to do a drum & bass remix of Arctic Monkeys, I was stoked! Arctic Monkeys have been one of my favorite bands since I first got introduced to them. 

So, we took 505 and flipped it into a deep drum & bass tune. Filled it with synths and vibes and gave the song a new light.
