A prolific & diverse artist in the mediums of writing, sound and music, Hong-Kong-born, Bristol-based gyrofield (Kiana Li) picks up the controls on NTS for their debut radio residency. Their arrival to the Drum & Bass scene was an anomaly, a completely self-made artist reaching far into a disparate dance music community. Far before that though, a steady stream of DIY electronic productions had been coming out under the gyrofield moniker, ranging from glitch to ambient techno to dubstep. 
With these 6 broadcasts she aims to reconcile all parts of her musical history & understanding, shedding light on back catalogues and upcoming material alike while also inviting special guests on curation duties.

We're happy to share a new "Gabben" remixes edition by Gil.Barte, including 3 drone-ambient-experimental - but very fuzzy - remixes from talented artists Catherine Danger (BE), Civilistjävel! (SW), and Warzou (FR).
Last year, we released the LP in a limited edition of 50 copies in compact disc format, featuring 8 original tracks by the French artist. Since, we've fallen a little behind our catalogue schedule but not for a long: we'll start 2025 with this nice gift, followe by much more.

This softly colored and rising frequencies trips are the result of a pleasant in non-club way of reading and highlighting Gil.Barte's percussive tracks and field recording work on Single EP .
The remixes will be available in a very limited edition, in a special pack including the original version (orange insert), the remixes version (blue insert) and a special A3 poster (greyscales).

“In this mix I’ve compiled some dark tunes from my tape collection in such genres as illbient, noise, dungeon synth, post punk, minimal wave and blackened folk. Also I’ve included here a fragment of the recording of my live performance in a duo with c.w.cult - this piece contains a processed recording of the snoring of my beloved dog who passed away recently. All tracks were digitized from audio cassettes.”
