Jonathan Jordan Childs first released Willow Dreams in 2010 a few months after waking from beneath the bows of an ancient willow. Their first album follows the emotional arc of this dream, from city to country, slowly settling into the sorrow of endless flight.

Released twelve years later, Gardening Songs is a short selection of 8 from the 60+ that they have written since releasing Willow Dreams. Recorded in the same style, utilizing their laptop's in-built microphone and garage band with a cacophony of instruments and collected sound, these songs have taken on the texture of yet another year in search of home.

They would especially like to thank their loving partner, Sylvia Bevington Estes, for her support, editing, production assistance, and backing vocals. These recent recordings would not be what they are without her.

With over a decade locked into his craft, Shizz Lo has blazed his own path through the electronic music scene. His journey shows both evolution and raw talent, backed by years of relentless grind. Growing up in the heart of Philadelphia, Shizz Lo's musical journey was nurtured by the city's eclectic blend of hip-hop and dance genres. His passion for the art form ignited at a young age when he first picked up the drums. As he entered his teenage years, he fully embraced the bustling city life, immersing himself in the ever-changing music scene that surrounded him.

What sets Shizz Lo apart is his versatility. From shredding with post-hardcore bands to crafting beats with emcees and producers, his early years were all about breaking molds and testing limits. Determined to level up, he took his hustle to New York City and sharpened his skills at The Institute of Audio Research, rubbing shoulders with producers like Benny Blanco. As electronic music evolved, so did his sound, raw, gritty, and straight from the nightclubs that shaped him. In 2019, his track “HOOD ANTHEM” dropped on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, pulling in over 4 million Spotify streams and still shaking dance floors worldwide. His catalog hits major bass labels including Subsidia, SubCarbon Records, and Drama Club Recordings, solidifying his place among the heavyweights.

But Shizz Lo isn’t just about the music. He’s about energy, connection, and chaos in the best way possible. His live sets are explosive, sweaty, loud, and impossible to forget. That intensity has taken him to the stages of Lost Lands, Moonrise Festival, and Amsterdam Dance Event, and on tour with artists like Steve Aoki and Boogie T. In 2020, he even took his sound global with a successful tour across China. Every performance is proof that Shizz Lo doesn’t follow trends, he creates them.

Beyond the drops and basslines, Shizz Lo stands for something bigger. He’s an outspoken advocate for sobriety and mental health, using his own story to break stigmas and inspire others. From Philly’s underground roots to international stages, his path proves that growth and redemption hit hardest when they’re real. In a scene that never stops shifting, Shizz Lo is an artist to watch as he continues to shape his distinctive sound and inspire others along the way.

Diego Romero es un músico y artista independiente de Carolina, Puerto Rico. Su obra alinea la composición y la producción musical con el manejo de las frecuencias sonoras. Son momentos, paisajes sonoros de apertura hacia la liberación personal y colectiva. 

Luego de años de recorrer las calles puertorriqueñas y el mundo con su música en 2020 Diego lanza su primer EP como solista: Una Voz. Junto a Llamada Perdida y el Remix de Una Voz el álbum de corta duración funde ritmos afrocaribeños y tradiciones indígenas de Puerto Rico en una base progresiva.

En 2024 con el lanzamiento de “Agua,” Diego inicia una nueva etapa en su carrera. Esta canción es su humilde contribución al periodo actual que vivimos como humanidad y como pueblo. 

Su mensaje invita a sus oyentes a mirar hacia dentro, a recordar el valor de la unidad y a conectar con sus propias luchas y esperanzas. En cada una de sus producciones, Diego busca más que una conexión musical; él invita a su audiencia a confiar en un mensaje que crece y se expande con ellos. Esta nueva etapa es una promesa de una propuesta refrescante y sanadora, nacida de su experiencia y su amor por la gente y el arte de Boriké.
