How would the original songs of Fred Astaire sound with a contemporary arrangement and sung by some of the most energetic and still sensitive singers of nowadays?

Did you ever wonder how it would sound if 1990s party heroes Right Said Fred sang a song by 1930s/1940s dance and film legend Fred Astaire?

We didn’t either. And then we just tried it. The result was mind-blowing.

So we gathered some well-known old hands of the music biz and some promising newcomers to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Fred Astaire’s death with us and record 14 contemporary versions of the old master’s songs:

• Right Said Fred („I’m too sexy“)
• Taco („Puttin’ on the Ritz“)
• Alexander Rybak (European Song Contest Winner)
• Freak Power („Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out“)
