Time Ejay ft. Dija

"I think of myself more as an Artist than a Rapper." I say that because Artists take their emotions and express it through painting, drawing, whatever. I tried visual arts, I just didn't have the patience, but I had to find some outlet to express my feelings. So I used to compile certain songs for different emotions. I listened to mostly R&B, (Aaliyah, 112, Boys 2 Men, Brian McKnight, Jodeci, Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, Musiq Soulchild) because no matter what I was going through, the sounds always seemed to help me cope.

As I got older, I started writing my own music in hopes that I could change people's feelings. I built my own Home-Studio and started recording when I was 15, and the first song I ever wrote was for  a girl I knew that was going through relationship issues. She literally cried as she listened to it, then smiled and declared it her favorite song of all time. Since that day, I vowed to never produce pointless music when I knowingly possess the ability to make someone's day, maybe even to change their life for the better.
