Personal Reflection
When I wrote “Karma’s Giving Raises,” it wasn’t about revenge—it was about survival.
There comes a point when pain becomes absurd, when you realize you’re justifying someone else’s destruction at your own expense. This song poured out in the aftermath of picking myself up for the last time—still angry, but finally done.
It’s brutally honest: I had to burn the script, let go of the ghost, and admit there’s no fixing what was never real.
