Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, and at just the tender age of 15, Jay Adams has a very bright future ahead of him joining the sound ground family. Jay brings along with him exhilarating and original ideas that will change change peoples expectations of a live entertainer.

Jay found his love for music at the age of 11. there after deciding that this career / profession was for him. After deciding this, Jay looked out for professional assistance, tutoring and guidance to follow his dreams of one day playing at international events, and then he came across the perfect tutors, VNDTA. With the professional help from these two members (Aiden Scheepers & Ehren Braunlich) they have taught Jay how to play on some of the latest club equipment such as cdjs 2000, and also taught Jay how to produce his own original tracks.
