It's been an incredible year for Open Mike Eagle, first he signed a multi-album deal with Mello Music Group, then he released the critically acclaimed album "Dark Comedy," and after months of touring North America, he is off for his first ever European Tour.  Oh, and he has an incredible new podcast called "Secret Skin" that is on the Infinite Guests network of American Public Media.  Here's an end of the year reminder of why he should be on you radar: Late Show, produced by Exile, starring Open Mike Eagle (side note, this will appear on the annual Mello Music Group compilation out in early 2015).

Philly's GrandeMarshall came into the scene with a trail of burning rubber in his wake, dropping the acclaimed 800 and Mugga Man mixtapes while still in his teens and linking with Fool's Gold, home to innovative, independent-minded rap releases from Danny Brown, Run The Jewels and more. Fans flock to Grande's multi-layered quotables and smoked-out ear for beats, and the MC's heavily anticipated My Brothers Keeper is his purest, most potent vision yet.

After throwing down the gauntlet with "Pull Up's Theme," GM offers up "The Formula," dropping bar after bar of that "real spill" he's renowned for, atop a moody, trunk-walloping beat from longtime collaborator Ben Pramuk (who handles production throughout the entire project). Stay tuned for more MBK music leading up to the full-length release this January.
