Hey, cool that you take time to read this ;) ...Hope you're doing well! ...I'm not sure if I should feel sorry about the fact that I didn't  create a new relaxdaily tune for a few months or not. Time really flies. And I was actually pretty busy in the second half of 2013: I did two film trips to capture new video footage for this channel (you should be able to see some results later this year!). Also it took some time to re-master the relaxdaily tunes from the last 12 months to finally publish them on iTunes & Co (yes, I always find something to work on to make it sound even better for everyone who's so awesome and supports my work with a paid download!!). Plus, I'm such a dreamer and thinker! You could lock me for a month into an empty room (please with a notebook and a pen) and most likely there wouldn't be a minute of boredom. Instead I would make plans about the future, what I want to work on next, how I would do it, basically dreaming up a delicious future ;)
...But here's 2014. And after a quick Christmas Music intermezzo (my last creation – borrowing established melodies for the first time), I finally took a few days time to make N°074 happen. 
The video is pretty much all of the footage I collected in Tuscany last summer that has some sunset feel in it. I had a great time with two really great friends ;) of mine over there... (Italian pizza, red wine, “una birra grande per favore”, or “tre caffè per favore”, are helpful phrases to get through the day there ;) 
It was on that trip, when I learned that I need a new kind of glass (lens) for my video work: something with a more narrow angle, a lens which only captures a part of the scenery (I now have a Leica R 90mm – build in the 1970s - for that).
...What else... well I hope I can create more great tunes in 2014. Creating music feels to me like THE thing to master in my life, so hopefully I can focus on that this year.

Great that you take time to read this. ...Hope you're doing well! ...it took me longer than I wished to finish up this tune. One of my goals for 2014 is to focus more on music, and hopefully creating more tracks than in the  second half of 2013 (which was not so productive in terms of new music output = makes me feel bad). But  also there is this quality control freak inside me, which wants every track to be something special and rather “well done”. Which simply means that to create a new tune takes its time. So what, I enjoy the process a lot ;) 

The video is the first leakage on this channel of what I could capture while visiting Yosemite for a few days during last November. Hey, this is a great place with lots of good energy! I hope I'll get the chance to experience it again some day.

A few thoughts on this one: 
The YouTube video (https://youtu.be/iljPOxZ6Vvg) is made of footage I could collect while visiting Sardinia, the Italian island, last September. I was lucky to get to that spot you can see in the first shot just on time to see the sun rising. While most people like to watch sunsets, and there is one at the end of the vid, too, it definitely is rewarding to watch the sun rising on the horizon. Makes you aware how slow, but steadily the ball we're standing on is spinning ;)

Nicholas Cheung - Improv Keys Sesh

Kat John was a nurse at The Alfred who was forced to change her life when diagnosed with a chronic and debilitating condition that affected her brain and mobility. At her lowest point she told her family "Either help me live, or help me die."

After surgery, neuroplasticity aided her to retrain the way she thought about her body and its capabilities. Once that was sorted, her psychological issues were no longer hidden under a blanket of pain.

Her journey to resolve and reboot her life led her to explore meditation, chakras and energetic healing.

She shared her story with Libbi Gorr and you'll find it inspiring too.
