David Hasert is back on Dantze. This time he teamed up with his Cologne fellow Matteo Luis. Their main track is useful for refreshing morning hours in the club, like a watermelon. The second original like in the tradition of Mozart, bewigged, white powdered for a serious trip. Additional remixes by Tim Engelhardt and Niju create different tastes for a nice fruit basket.

Majouré – majeure – french for force. One might explain the 14 tracks on Parra for Cuvas upcoming album that way, and they definetely deserve it. All of the songs feature distinct foundations of electronica mixed with a grand variety of musical influences of other genres. Ninja Tune's Counter imprint meets Modeselektor's Monkeytown to release RY X and Frank Wiedemann aka Âme, remixed by Matt “Radio Slave” Edwards and Thomas “Cagedbaby” Gandey (the latter two also now known as Matom for their more Kosmische output), on an 11 minute deep'n'meaningful dark-club epic? It's such a big-name pile-up, it was always going to either be lowest common denominator or highest common factor; thankfully, though, it really has given us the best from all involved. This is one of those magic tunes where you keep thinking nothing's happening, then suddenly you realise it's risen up around you to become all-enveloping, and before you know it you're compelled to take it from the top... and not just once either. This needs a health warning, it's so addictive.
