Germany’s iconic house outfit Milk & Sugar return with a new track for 2023 ‘Feels Like’ – a collaboration with UK DJs Killed Kassette and SKAPES and guest vocals from Detroit Blues singer Thornetta Davis.

Thornetta Davis was awarded a “Living Lifetime Achievement Award” by the Detroit Blues Society and has opened for Blues Legends such as B.B. King, Ray Charles, Etta James, KoKo Taylor, Johnny Johnson, Bonnie Raitt and more.  

Born out of the 90s UK rave scene Killed Kassette is a pioneer of house music with a remarkable resume, having worked with the likes of Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Chez Damier etc.. Skapes is a newer name from the UK underground house scene, with regular support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM and Kiss FM. 

Bright, upbeat and bouncy ‘Feels Like’ provides some much needed light to banish those January blues as Thornetta sings “It’s getting clearer, there ain’t no cloudiness in my mind.” It’s an uplifting start to the New Year with superb vocals from the Queen of Detroit Blues – Thornetta Davis, who collaborates with Milk & Sugar for the first time.

Madrid, 2002. From the bosom of a family with a very diverse musical environment, an artist was born who, from a very young age, showed a strong attraction for sound art. He spent much of his childhood enjoying records, vinyl and cassette tapes.

In his most rebellious stage, the world of DJing and music production appeared before him. He spent a first stage trying to understand and internalise the true essence of "the art of being a modern electronic artist" (both DJ and producer), and then honed his knowledge with study and practice.

Musically, his taste is based on the creation of varied sound environments. His style is shaped by the combination of electronic and organic elements, resulting in an atmosphere filled with the bewitching groove of organic music and the catchy rhythm of electronic percussions.

Nowadays he has been given opportunities at festivals and clubs. As well as allowing him to develop other collaborative projects focused on Madrid's Clubbing Culture. His passion and interest have led him to be part of the artist rider of the Trade DJ School in Madrid.

Determined to enjoy and share his passion for music with everyone, this young man from Madrid has only one thing clear about what is to come in his career and in his life: "as long as I still have a record player and records to listen to, I will never stop smiling"
